About Me…

Music was always around me since I was a youngster growing up in Long Island New York. My mother was a concert pianist and all my brothers and sisters were musicians so it was only natural that I played music and I fell in love with the trumpet at a very early age. I played trumpet all through grade school and I had the privilege to later in 1980 move to Texas and study at North Texas state University with Don “Jake” Jacoby. Later on in life I had the opportunity to study privately with some amazing world renowned players such as Wayne Bergeron, Allen Vizzutti, Roger Ingram, Mark Zauss, Augie Haas, Bryan Davis  and Bobby Shew. Always will be a student of the horn!

I also had a love for photography and nature and I found a way to bridge my passion for music with my love of photography and that’s how “Musical Shots” was born. – Hope you enjoy the “Shots”

Best,
